How tribute credits work, how to buy them, how to choose a pack and how to work out what to charge families.

1. How credits work

What a credit is, when one is used and when you get it back.

One credit is one tribute. A credit is used when you invite a family, which creates their tribute.

Every tribute is a Full HD video with no watermark.
Credits never expire. They stay on your account while it is open.
There is no subscription and no plan. You buy credits when you need them.
If you delete a tribute before its video is made, the credit comes back automatically.
A credit is not returned once the video has been made, or when a tribute is deleted at the end of its storage period.

Your credits show at the top of the Tributes tab on your Dashboard, under Credits. They also show at the top of the Pricing page.

New accounts get a free example tribute to explore the editor. It does not use a credit and cannot be made into a final video.

When you click Invite Client, a No Credits Remaining message appears. Click Purchase to go to the Pricing page.

Yes. Delete the tribute before the video is made and the credit comes back.

How to buy a pack of credits and pay securely by card.

On your Dashboard, click Buy Credits next to your credits. This opens the Pricing page.
Choose a pack from the list. The Pricing page suggests one for you, but you can pick any pack.
Under Your order, use How many packs if you want more than one of the same pack.
Check Credits added and the Total (AUD), then click the Buy button.
Pay by credit or debit card on Stripe's secure checkout. Any GST is shown there before you pay.
You come back to your Dashboard, where a message confirms your credits have been added.

Yes. Stripe emails a tax invoice with our ABN after each purchase.

Stripe tells you straight away at checkout and nothing is charged. Check your card details or try another card.

Yes. All prices are in AUD, and any GST is shown at checkout before you pay.

Use the Pricing page to find the right pack for how many tributes you make, and see your profit on each pack.

Open the Pricing page.
Move the How many tributes do you make a month? slider. If you have made tributes lately, it starts from your recent months.
The Pricing page suggests a pack that lasts a few months, marked Suggested. Click Use this to go back to it after picking another.
Compare the packs. Each shows the price Per tribute, the Saving and the Pack price.
Under Your order, Lasts shows roughly how many months the credits will last, and You save shows the saving.
Scroll down to the Profit calculator and enter what you charge families for a tribute.
The table shows, for each pack, what you would charge, what the pack costs and your profit.

Packs range from a single credit to large packs. The bigger the pack, the less each tribute costs. See every pack and price on the Pricing page.

No. It is just for the sums. To save your price, enter it in Dashboard, Analytics, Money.

No. Click any pack to choose it instead.

You set your own price for a tribute video, and Analytics shows your profit from it.

You decide what to charge families for a tribute video. Families never pay Tribute Creator and are never asked for payment details.

To see your profit, save your price in your Dashboard:

On your Dashboard, open the Analytics tab, then Money.
Enter your price in Your price per tribute. It saves by itself.
Charged to families, Paid to Tribute Creator and Profit then show for the period you choose.

The Profit calculator on the Pricing page starts from the price you saved, so you can compare packs.

Yes. Change it in Your price per tribute at any time and the figures update.
